The mission of a Toastmasters club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.
Membership is open to any one from the local area who is interested in joining. In most cases your organization will pay the new member fee and
International Toastmasters dues.
Visit our club meetings anytime on the first and third Wednesday of the month in the ODU facility at the Navy Cropper Center. You can join anytime. Once you join you will receive a New Member Kit and you are on your way to developing excellent speaking and leadership skills.
Our membership is a mix of community members and professionals from NASA, Old Dominion University, the Navy, and MARS. Everyone brings something unique and interesting to the club. We have a great time together as we hone our communications and leadership skills.
Please contact our Vice President of Membership, Brenda Mulac, for more information.
